With every capability amply provided for. Whether you want to board gently through stunning wooded pistes or carve up some clean lines in fresh powder, the ski areas around or chalets have it all.

You will be staying in 2 stunning 5* chalets in the village of La Rosiere, overlooking the snow fields of Les Arcs. A luxury yet ladi-back snowboarders paradise, you will look forward to lounging in the comforts of La Ferme after a day on the hill. Range of accommodation from cosy luxury bunk rooms to deluxe en-suite twin or double rooms, cosy lounge with open fire to chill and another lounge area as a separate yoga space if you need to do a bit of your own stretching.

Why combine yoga with snowboarding? Perhaps the biggest benefit yoga can bring to your snowboarding is injury prevention. Boarding asks a lot from the bodys cold muscles are called upon to perform a variety of functions, while dexterity, balance, and high levels of concentration are also a must. For those boarders who go riding sporadically, these athletic requisites are often too tough, and they can end up injured and disillusioned with the sport. By observing your body's imbalances, brought on by the particular movements of boarding, and employing a yoga program to bring your body into a state of equilibrium, you can avert injury and participate in the sport for years to come.

Catch the snow train and get a whole extra days skiing or snowboarding, arrive in comfort straight to our door (20 minutes away!) feel rested (as it's overnight) and get a whole HOUR FREE massage for your efforts! We really want to encourage you to come by train as it is the greener way to tavel and you get so many more benefits travelling this way. It may seem more expensive but once you have broken down travel time, the price of the massage and the extra skiing time...it all seems so worthwhile.

Accommodation Details

The venue for Snowyogi 2012s in the most beautiful chalet we could find. An awe inspiring trip across the French Alps, lead us to the popular resort of La Rosiere, where we stumbled across ˜La Ferme´. It´s perfect in many ways, but the most important being that it´s a family home and has been lovingly restored to its former glory over the last 20 years. Dating back to 1877, it is a traditional farm house that has been renovated to it´s now luxurious state. Made up of two separate but adjacent houses, it offers plenty of space to dine, sleep, relax, practice yoga and even play the piano! With a selection of room sizes & styles, we are able to offer a large range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. It is located at the end of a winding road, past a couple of working farms, well off the beaten track. There are uninterrupted views of the mountains and no neighbours to the front or to the right of La Ferme, making it the ideal location for a mountain retreat. You will have to see it, to believe just how stunning it is, but we can assure you that your stay with us here, will be an adventure to remember.
