Livigno really is geared up to keep even the most gnarly boarder entertained! The resort offers some 70km of piste for all levels of boarder and is great for beginners with dedicated schools offering friendly, expert tuition.

Situated in a remote corner of Italy right on the Swiss border, Livigno is a high altitude, traditional alpine village offering a friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere and a duty free shopping ski holiday.

With slopes reaching up to 2800m, ski hoiidays in Livigno offers great snow records, a long season and excellent skiing for beginners, intermediates and families. Intermediates will love the wealth of blue and red runs scattered across both sides of the valley, while beginners are well catered for with excellent English speaking ski schools and wide gentle nursery slopes all close to the village centre.

The village’s 3km pedestrianised centre offers an impressive range of bars, restaurants and duty free shops - a popular meeting place in the evenings. For other non-skiing activities we can recommend a day trip
across the border to the chic and stylish St.Moritz.

Itinerary

Beginners
Livigno has a wide choice of beginner runs at resort level. Before long, beginners will be able to ski on the Costaccia and the gentle blue runs of the Passo d’Eira

Intermediates
Both the Mottolino and Carasello offer great skiing for the intermediate skier. An abundance of long red and easy black runs will keep the intermediate skier more than occupied. If you want to explore new terrain why not visit neighbouring St. Moritz for a days skiing.

Advanced
There are a few black runs to challenge the advanced skier. These can be found on the Teola as well as on the Carasello, where you will find a few testing runs. You can also join our trip to neighbouring St. Moritz.

Freeride

Livigno has a pretty impressive terrain park on the Mottolino side with halfpipe, rails, bordercross, jumps and chutes. The Madness school offers expert instruction in freeride and freestyle. If you want to have a crack at the terrain park, the specialist instructors can offer you dedicated lessons in the park. The school can also arrange special off-piste excursions.
