SYNERGY SNOWSPORTS is a unique Snowboard and Ski Company offering holiday’s and camps with British instructors in Switzerland’s Davos Klosters resort. The SYNERGY team are all BASI qualified UK natives who are passionate about delivering the very best coaching experience in the world. We handle complete beginners to off-piste enthusiasts with the same focus on providing an unforgettable winter holiday in Davos.

Our advanced courses run weekly and are aimed at riders who perhaps started out in lessons and then decided to master their art on their own or with friends from then on. Maybe your a seasoned rider or a Snow dome regular and you've hit a plateau and need someone to give you a push! With access to some of Europes most amzing pistes, parks, tree lines and back country this really is your calling to 'step it up'! We break out course levels down into what we call 'PEAKS' so make sure you have a look at the different peaks on our website to give you an idea of what we try and achieve in a week so you are with other riders looking for that same push.

By this stage in your snowboarding career you likely to have your own gear but if not then we'll take you down to our local shop 'Top Secret' and get you kitted out. Alternatively if you just want to try out some new stuff before you 'upgrade' then we'll talk you though what we reccommend for your style of riding. Furthermore, we'll make sure you understand what changes to make to your equipment to get the most out of it. Subtle tweaks are essential when we cover all aspects of the hill from steeps to flat out cat-track traversing and getting some air. Bindings are tool free for a reason!

Our instructors avoid the typical ski school approach to teaching so we spend as little time waiting around as possible. We'll coach you on the move and breakdown movments and techniques on the chair lift. Davos has 6 mountains and at this level we'd like to get you to our secret spots and start looking at the terrain through new eyes. From wind lips to narrow chutes and some amazing natural kickers we'll transform your approach and have you trying things you never thought you would!

We'll even run you though some video footage over a hot chocolate to help you see where you are going wrong and right! And during all of this you’re almost guaranteed to meet other people just like you looking to develope their performance in the mountains. This is all part of what makes our instructional holidays so great.

Itinerary / Highlights

Every day is a highlight in Davos! With a fantastic snow record and even better sunshine record (it tends to snow at night) the mountains in our Swiss valley look incredible. Our rough outline for the week is as follows:

Arrival day: We will meet you off the train and take you to your hotel/hostel/apartment. Once we have checked you in we'll give you a little time to settle in before we take you down to 'Top Secret' where we will kit you out with everything you need for the weeks on slope activities. That evening all of our instructors will come and meet you and the rest of that weeks groups in our favourite little bar for welcome drinks where everyone can get to know each other a little better and discuss action plans!

Days 2-4: Each day we will meet you after breakfast either at your accommodation or at an arranged place on the mountain. Out time is then spent covering the miles! Our instruction programme is our secret but you'll soon find out what makes it so much fun and how we get the most out of the hill.

Day 5: Usually a rest day to give your legs a little time to recuperate! We'll take you down to Eau-La-La, our famous outdoor hot tub with massage jets, bubble beds and lots more. You are of course free to ride all day and hit the spa in the evening - or every evening if you like!

Day 6+7: It's back to the hill for something more challenging! At this stage we normally try and take some video footage to show you. It helps a lot to see the movements you are actually making rather than the ones you think you are making! At this stage of the week most people are playing with new techniques and starting to get some real performance out of their boards on a variety of terrain. If we get some fresh snow then we'll start to think about technique in the deep stuff and talk you through a safe approach to off piste riding.

Day7 Evening: On the last day we like to take you out to our favourite steak house in Davos - The Ochsen. You can choose from Ostrich, T-Bone, Lamb and Horse and many more and cook them to your liking on your own hot-stone. This is not a meal to be missed, a real culinary treat...you deserve it!

Departure day: Once you're all packed up with tears in your eyes we'll take you back to the station and see you on your way from Davos Platz to Zurich. Until next time there will be lots of Facebook photo reminising and hopefully lots of chat with new friends about when you'll get time to come back! Soon we hope!

Accommodation Details

We have several accommodation packages on offer to suit all wants, budgets and luxuries! Be sure to check out our website and contact us about your preferred options. This package price is based on staying at out famous Snowboarders Palace.

The Snowboarders Palace offers 2,4 and 6 bed rooms most of which with nice big sunny balconies, right beneath the funicular to Schatz Alp Mountain. Its a 30sec walk to the main street and bus stop to get you to all of the other mountains or a 5 min walk to Jakobshorn. The palace is a rustic hostel with a great vibe especially at the weekend when it’s 'Angel' bar gets busy! During the week it is very quiet.

The Kitchen facilities on each floor are great and the breakfast restaurant serves a fantastic continental buffet. There are lots of restaurant options on your door step and our favourite pub (The Chami Bar) is 2 mins down the road – we’ll see you there for sure!
