Winter
In the winter the St Jean D’Aulps is the perfect base for a ski trip, featuring ski in ski out access to Roc D’Enfer, with its own selection of ski lifts, downhill ski pistes and cross-country ski runs. Regular Buses, or a 15 minute drive link the apartment to Avoriaz, one of the highest resorts in France thus guaranteeing both late and early season skiing

Summer
In the summer Saint Jean d'Aulps is situated in the heart of one of the most popular mountain and downhill biking and hiking regions in Europe. It is a very popular choice when used in combination with the Multi Pass, giving access to kilometres of unspoilt mountainsides, suited to all abilities including children as young as 6.

200km of signposted footpaths in the Vallée d’Aulps enable you to discover St jean D’aulps and the surrounding 6 untouched nearby villages. Full maps and route instructions in English are available in the Apartment, and from the Tourism Office.
Personal favourites include Lake Montriond (10 minutes away) to visit a spectacular waterfall, fish and horse ride.
