Snowboarding in Les Arcs
What do we organise?
We organise catered Chalet holidays to the French Alps to go snowboarding. We are based in SEEZ which is 5 min from the Funicular into Les Arcs. We are within 20 min from Tignes, Val D'Isere, La Plagne, Saint Foy & La Rossiere so we offer a flexible lift pass option where you can go to any of these local resorts (group dependant). The main resort is Les Arcs.
The food is prepared by an Italian Chef and they will prepare a continental breakfast, optional pack lunch, snacks and cakes in early evening and 3 course evening meal with unlimited wine. There will be Local Savoie specialities such as Racklette, Fondue and Pierre Chaud during your stay.
We will organise transport if necessary and transfers to Bourg St Maurice train and coach station. we will take you to the resort or Funicular train every morning and collect you at the end of the day. We will also organise your Lift pass if required. We will work with your group to ensure that you get the best form of transport that suits your group as well as ensuring you have a great holiday with minimum hassle and effort on your part.
We will organise a bar crawl on 1800 every Monday and another optional evening out in the week dependant on demand.
There is a hire service and we have a selection of snowboards and boots available for hire. We can organise additional equipment hire with some of the local shops.
we also organise Heli skiing/ snowboarding and the helicopter pick up less than 10 min from the chalet.

Example of Itinerary:
Continental Breakfast each morning (and a fry up one of the days!), you will then get ready to go Snowboarding.
We will take you to the resort you have chosen the evening before.
Meet at the end of the day in a bar and then head back to the chalet where there will be tea/ coffee and snacks waiting for you. You will time to freshen up before dinner.
There will be a 3 course meal with unlimited wine during the meal.
The evening it is up to you to do what you like. There are various board games and books and magazines available. There is a flat screen TV/ DVD player and a stereo. We will organise optional nights out to go to bars and clubs. (pub crawl Monday)
Resort Information:
The main resort is Les Arcs, where you literally have everything you can wish for from great off piste, good snow parks, tree runs, variety of slopes (the longest piste n Europe) and the largest ski area in Europe. |

Chalet Description:
Sleeps 10-12 adults.
Bedroom 1:
This bedroom is roomy and very comfortable. It has an en suite shower and sink and there are great views down the valley out of the window.
Bedrooms 2:
This is a newly built bedroom measuring 16m2. Again it benefits from a beautiful en suite bathroom.
Bedrooms 3:
Again this is a newly built double bedroom with en suite bathroom with French windows that opens out onto the large terrace. Later on in the season when the snow has melted on the terrace, you can benefit from being able to step out side to catch a few rays!
Bedrooms 4 & 5:
They both have single beds so they can sleep either 2 or 3 people. They share the main bathroom with bath and shower. All of the bedrooms have plenty of storage space for all your equipment and clothes.
With our spacious livingroom you can relax on our large comfy sofa while reading a magazine or watching a DVD. We have just installed a log fire so you can relax in warmth reflecting on your days activities. We have reading area where you can play cards and games, have a look at our many art books.
Grab a drink from the trust fridge or go downstairs and relax in the 6 man Jacuzzi or do some rowing in our mini gym. Kids (of all ages!) can be left in peace in the mezzanine to play on the playstation or X box or even have a tinkle on the full size piano keyboard!)
For those of you who need to catch up with the real world, we have Free WIFI access so grab the access code off the host! We have re vamped the whole chalet with YOU in mind!
We are child friendly and Julie one of the hosts is a qualified nanny, so if you wish to leave your 'baby' while you go out on the piste we offer this in house nanny service for you. We have a cot, high chair and car seats so you do not have to worry about dragging this over from the UK!
We have a large selection of decent snowboard equipment at better rates than any hire shop so just let us know before you arrive what you require.
There is a large sun terrace with outdoor BBQ and a large balcony with superb views. We are installing a Jacuzzi and gym in to the Garage
A good size kitchen with dishwasher and all appliances you could require.
Garage and board back, and a boot storage/ drying room.
Local Shops:
There are 2 large supermarkets 5 min drive from the chalet. A bakery and small local shop which is 1 min drive from the chalet.
There are 2 good snowboard shops, clothes shops, equipment hire shops, 2 electrical goods stores, sports shops, a DIY store, tobacconist, butchers, boulangerie all within 5 min drive away.
Doctors/Hospitals:
The Doctors and pharmacy is within 5 min drive and the hospital is 20 min drive.
Bars & Clubs:
There are bars from 1 min drive away.
There are clubs and lots more bars in Les Arcs 1800 (20 min drive). We Recommend Benjis and La Jungle for good bars, and Apocalypse night club for those of you who want to have a dance. Le Kebab is just next door and they make the best Kebabs in the area! (During the winter we organise evening out to Les Arcs 1800)
Val D'Isere (20 min drive) has a very good selection of bars and clubs also.
Kids Activities:
In Bourg t Maurice (5 min drive) there is a kids club where they look after your children and take them on activity adventures and sports such as horse riding, swimming, roller hockey, volley ball, orienteering, walking, climbing and much more! |
